I got this coat to wear in frigid desert weather. It rains, sandstorms, and gets miserably cold where I live. This coat will definitely do the trick- it's very warm, and versatile enough to wear through the spring, thanks to the zip-out inner jacket.My first thought, though, when I tried this on was "It doesn't look as fitted as it did in the picture." It is bulkier than I imagined. It does run a bit snug in the arms (if you bend your elbow, it feels tight in the fore/upper arms).It is, however, a very warm coat. The inner lining jacket zips out and is perfect to wear on less chilly nights (it does have a fitted shape, and is pretty cute by itself). Lots of pockets, though some aren't accessible until you remove the inner jacket. Loops and snaps to make sure the lining doesn't get twisted up in the shell.I like this coat a lot.. was just slightly disappointed that it wasn't a sleeker fit.
