This is the the second pair of these boots I have owned. I would like to see a littler more aggressive sole for traction but I still am very happy with the boots.Well made and comfortable boots.I have bought Dunham shoes for many years because they have been well made and fit my 4E foot. These boots were not Dunham's normal 4E. I could hardly get my foot in them. I do not know if the miss labeled a 2E or they have change their 4E mold.Great boot, very light and comfortable. Highly recommendedBought a 4E but it was too narrow. Like most other manufacturers, Dunham is afraid to make a wide shoe that really is wide. Buying wide shoes on Amazon isn't easy, either. The search engine returns all manner of shoes. However, returns are easy and hassle free.These pair are no longer made in steel toe for larger sizes. Contact customer service to ensure your size is made in steel toe.I ordered these hiking boots because they are waterproof and came in 4E width. They fit great which was very surprising. I have difficulty finding comfortable boots. I've worn them 12 hrs a day 4 days a week and put many thousands of steps in them in the last two weeks. They did not require any breaking in. They are still comfortable and waterproof. The soles take a beating in my use and they have held up fine and the non slip is as advertised. I love the boots. My only negative point is they are made in China. I would expect for the price they would be made by non slave labor. But hey companies have to profit I quess.Great walking boots, comfort and quality are evident. My only small negative is I would not mind them a touch lighter, with that they are not too heavy either. I found my new mid high walking shoes for muddy, snowy or wet weather.
